The Fondation d’Entreprise J.M. Weston was founded in 2011 by Christopher Descours, President of the EPI Group (owner of J.M. Weston), who wanted to demonstrate the active involvement of EPI in the development of manual work and engagement of exceptional expertise.

The main purpose of the Fondation is to celebrate the interaction between actions and creative thinking – in other words, the link between ‘actions’ and ‘ideas’, where someone’s imagination becomes their handiwork. This venture has a fundamental focus on craft work and how it can be created, boosted, encouraged and supported.

The Fondation is designed to support the apprenticeships and professional experiences of young people and creative producers, as well as other interested parties.

A great emphasis is placed on the exchange of practices, experiences, cultures and skills, which strengthens links between generations.

The Association Ouvrière des Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France is partnering with the Fondation d’Entreprise J.M. Weston to ensure we achieve these goals.
